Party Time

We are officially heading into the Holidays! Which means planning family gatherings, cooking up a storm, hot chocolate and searching for the perfect party dress. And We're Back!

Over the last week, our owner and manager have been out to market searching for some new bridal, pageant, and prom pieces.

We are excited to announce that we are now going to be carrying pageant gowns from the one and only, Mac Duggal. Based out of Chicago, IL, Mac Duggal brought the richness and brightness of India to the United States when he came here when he was only 23. Many Miss USA, Miss Universe, Miss America, and Miss World winners have been crowned in Mac's designs. We cannot wait to receive these pieces!

In the mean time, we have been receiving a ton of beautiful Jovani and Lenz Collection gowns for those of you who are pageant ladies.

Terani Blow Out Sale

As of August 1st, we began to roll out our homecoming and cocktail pieces for the upcoming fall and winter months. We are also beginning to mark down our Terani pieces. These dresses definitely have a "wow" factor to them. Some of them are marked down to $99!

This black and leopard print dress is perfect for homecoming. It was originally priced at $250 but is now priced at $200. That is a 20% savings! 

This cute bright colored orange and yellow Terani piece is marked down to $99! 

This is a cute slim fitting Terani dress that has fully crystal beaded straps that sit off the shoulder. It is now marked down to $99 also! 

This beauty is a blush colored gown perfect for a galla or ball. Originally priced at $539 and is now 20% off leaving it at $431.20. 

The Pretty Peplum

Welcome to August. This is when most of us have had enough of the heat and are ready to welcome in some cool, fall temperatures and of course fall fashions. 

We have to say that we love layering up and bringing out the boots for fall, but what about trends in formal wear? One look that is becoming extremely popular and you can now see this style appearing in stores. This new look is the peplum skirt. 

Not only is the peplum skirt popular in dresses, but also tops as well. One celebrity that is a fashion idol of mine, is Lucy Hale. She rocks the peplum look. 

As of right now, BE boutique does not have any styles with the peplum skirt, but I can almost guarantee when we go to market in October to New York City we will be seeing several designs with the peplum look incorporated.

Elegant 900

As most of you are aware, B|E boutique is the sister store of Bridal Extraordinaire. Bridal Extraordinaire is known around the KC metro area and the mid-west as one of the best bridal retailers. There you can find beautiful couture gowns that have textures, lace, and tulle that come in an array of shapes and sizes. With this also comes price. Cost is sometimes a hard subject to address, because every bride has a different budget to the next. We try our best to be able to reach out and help every bride with any budget. However, with our economy still not at its best, material costs have gone up. This has made the cost of clothing of every kind of rise as well. We also know that not every bride is able to spend a couple thousand dollars on a dress. 

Well, we have GOOD NEWS for that budget savvy bride! ;) 

We want to be able to provide GORGEOUS and FLAWLESS gowns to those girls that aren't wanting to spend thousands on a gown. We have, at the boutique, a room full of beautiful white and ivory couture gowns at a more affordable cost. This line is called Elegant 900! It features some gowns from Bridal Extraordinare that aren't able to be ordered anymore that you can purchase off the rack, and there are also gowns that you can still order but are still at that $900 and under price in a different size and color! 

This fall, come September, we will also be carrying a new line from the amazing designer ENZOANI called Beautiful. This will feature gowns designed by the couture designer himself! We will also be receiving a few new pieces from SINCERITY BRIDAL as well. 

If you are a new bride and wanting to order a new piece, make sure you give yourself at least 6-8 months to get a new gown in. It could even take up to a year!! Make sure you start planning now girls!

This past week has been really busy for us! We had the Miss Kansas Pageant and our managers headed to California for the Enzoani Fashion Event! I have lots of pictures and news to share from these two awesome events.

Thursday our managers headed out to to sunny Newport Beach, California to check out the 2013 line of Enzoani. (I was so jealous!!) They got to see all the new styles for all of the lines! That includes, wedding gowns (Enzoani, Enzoani Blue, Enzoani Couture, and Modeca), Enzoani Love, and Enzoani Love 16. Both of our stores, Bridal Extraordinaire and B|E boutique both received platinum awards for Enzoani Blue and Enzoani Love! How awesome for our stores. It feels so good to be recognized for hard work by the manufacturers themselves! Anyways, we can't wait for all the new gowns to come in!!! Stay tuned for that announcement. It should be sometime this fall.

While our managers were in sunny Cali, our owner, Vicki Cackler and co-worker Fi headed to western, I mean 1 hour from the Colorado border, western Kansas for the Miss Kansas pageant. Now if you didn't read earlier blog posts, I'll catch you up! We provided the opening number dresses for all the contestants. While there, they watched Sloane Lewis be crowned Miss Kansas 2012! Not only did she buy her gowns from B|E boutique, but she is stunningly beautiful, smart, and so nice! It was a joy to work with all the young ladies and all the people we got to be in contact with this weekend in Pratt, Kansas for the pageant!
