For all you homecoming girls stressing about what is hot for this homecoming season, and scrummaging around for the perfect accessories, I'm here to help you find EXACTLY what you need!
First off, lets talk dresses, because, of course, this is the most important element to your outfit. You are going to see lots of pop in color this season. Bright yellows, fuchsias, royal purples, and even tie-dyed short and sassy skirts! You will also see the opposite. Champagnes paired with black accents is also in this season, but you may see that carry over into Prom too. Not only is color a huge trend, but also ruffles, feathers, ballerina-inspired skirts, 1920's dropped waist skirts with fringe, and lots and lots of ruching.
After you find that perfect dress, you need accessories to match! All the way from the ears to your pretty pedicured toes, you should be accessorized. Chunky jewel toned necklaces and bracelets are the perfect accent to your dress. A must have are long chandelier earrings! The sparkle will bring more attention to your gorgeous facial features. Add a strapy heel and you will be good to go!
Then, we have to talk about trendy hairstyles. If you're wearing a long glamorous dress I would recommend doing some sort of up-do style with curls. If you want to spice it up a bit you can add in twists and/or braids. If you choose to wear a short and sassy dress, you could wear your hair down or up! If you choose to wear your hair down you can put in a couple of color extensions or feathers since these two things are already trending now. Especially for fall! Loose curls are also always in as well!
